First things first

Well, I guess it's time to introduce myself.

Unfortunately everything I've learned I've taught myself through lots of trial and error as well as a few Google searches. The only programming language I've learned with formal training is Python, thanks to my computer science class at NCTC. Needless to say I'm not a fan of Python, more of a Visual Basic or C++/C language fan. Granted I haven't written any applications in C++ or C, but I can understand it and read it without too much hassle.

I've written several Visual Basic applications, unfortunately I can't post the entire source code because everything I've written is owned by my employer. I will post some functions that I find useful, in whatever language it may be written in.
